We are please to announce that our 2016 Annual Review is out now. You can download a pdf copy here. If you would like a printed copy please let us know.
After just over 2 years in our Green Street workshop Hope Woodwork has expanded into new larger premises. The project will be open to the public for sales from next Monday, 19th September 2016, at Unit ‘A’ (former Auction House), 7-9 Finmere Road, Eastbourne, BN22 8QG.
Hope Woodwork aims to train and equip people for work. We are always looking for new volunteer trainers / supervisors and would love to hear from you if you think you could help in that way, perhaps by giving a day or two a week of your time.
Following about 18 months of negotiations we are delighted to be able to announce the transfer of a new property to KWT this week. This property has been gifted to us by another local Trust which is winding up it’s activities after many years of faithfully serving the people of Eastbourne. We are humbled by their generosity to us. The property is a block of 8 flats, all currently occupied, and we have agreed to preserve these tenancies. However, as and when flats become vacant they will form part of our Hope into Action project. We thank God for this generous provision for KWT, and to all those involved in the decision making process.
Hopefully you received the newsletter we sent out on 1st August inviting you to our event on 1st September. If not you can find it and subscribe to receive our newsletters on our newsletter archive page here: http://kingdomwaytrust.org/newsletter-archive/
We tend to send a newsletter every 2 to 3 months. You will receive more during the winter if you are a night shelter volunteer. We’d really like to know how we’re doing in terms of communicating with you. If you could spare a few minutes to take this short survey for us we would really appreciate it. Kingdom Way Trust is seeking an experienced manager for our men’s supported accommodation, ‘The Bridge’, in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is a challenging but rewarding role, supporting our residents on their journey from referral to exit, providing opportunities to address barriers to a stable lifestyle, enabling them to discover skills, attitudes and values that will give substance to their hope for a better future.
Due to changes in personal circumstances the current manager of The Bridge will shortly be moving on. We are therefore seeking a new person (or 2 people job sharing) to provide leadership and management for The Bridge.
Kingdom Way Trust is a Christian organisation and The Bridge is run with a Christian ethos. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for candidates to agree to our Statement of Beliefs, which is included with the application form.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. This is a full time position but may be suitable for consideration as a job share. There is a requirement for flexible working hours.

Closing date: 8th April 2016.
